My illustrations tell stories with a sense whimsy and humor. I work in acrylic medium because of the boldness of the colors and computer illustration for its crisp-graphic qualities.

Biography
Alicia lives with her husband and daughter in Plymouth, Minnesota. She has worked as a commercial illustrator / graphic designer since 1993 and is the recipient of numerous awards. After acquiring a bachelor in Fine Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1993, Alicia moved to Hannover, Germany.

While in Germany, she pursued a career in graphic design and illustration while co-owning a graphic design firm with a German partner. In 1997, she moved back to the States resettling in Minneapolis, MN and worked as a graphic designer / illustrator at local firms until October 2000. Since then she has turned her focus to illustration. You can find Alicia in her studio currently writing and illustrating a children's book of her own.
