Biography
MaryBeth specializes in educational, scientific, and religious illustration.
She majored in chemistry and biology in Kansas City and completed a Master's
degree in Biochemistry at Georgetown University.
It was there that she realized a strong (and surprising!)
interest in educational graphics while completing her thesis.

Art education was and is pursued in Minnesota where she resides
with her family just outside of Minneapolis.
Her work includes a recent book by a magician for "bigger kids"
in the corporate world, illustration for a local nature center,
and illustrations for school lab manuals.
"My goal as an artist is to attempt to capture the wonder of discovery
and joy so inherent to childhood and transmit it through illustrations
of everyday learning situations. I would love for the viewer to experience
a true joy of learning when they look at the illustrations."
