She has taken numerous workshops, is a member of the MN chapter of SCBWI, (The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators) and its treasurer. Lorraine is also a member of the Minnesota Artists Association of the Twin Cities. She shows two to three times a year in galleries and other establishments.
