Biography
Throughout his life Stu has always wanted to create, from making comic books and home movies with family as a youth to becoming a prolific artist today. The artwork Stu produces is distinguishable. He enjoys combining thick solid lines with warm vivid colors to display a sense of playfulness, humor, and childlike innocence. This style can be seen in many of his works, which is drawn from the printmaking and graphic design he learned and developed during his college years.

Stu graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a BFA degree in Design with an emphasis on Visual Communications. His artwork has been shown in various galleries and public spaces throughout the Twin Cities area. In 2002 and 2005 his paintings were chosen by jury to be exhibited in the Minnesota State Fair Fine Arts Show.
